The WCBU charity BBO bridge tournament this Friday 23rd February will be in aid of the Friendship Club which discreetly assists bridge players unable to afford the cost of playing bridge. If you are playing in Congress next week, then this will be your last chance to get some practice against stiff opposition.

And if you are not playing in Congress, then you will be relieved to know that you can instead play - and at the same time make a difference - in our charity BBO tournament on Friday 1st March in aid of Souper Troopers, who work with and advocate for Cape Town's most marginalised residents, those living on the streets.

For both these tournaments, logon to BBO soon after 09h30 and, after selecting Virtual Clubs - South Africa, you will see our tournament listed. Play starts at 10h00.

This is also a reminder that, because of Congress, there will be NO Personal Trust sponsored face to face bridge and lunch on Sunday 25th February. The March bridge and lunch will not take place on 31st March, which is Easter Sunday, but a week earlier on Sunday 24th March. Please take note!
